- If you are open to a transracial home you will need to complete all five courses listed in the "Transracial Adoption" section.
- If you are open to a child exposed to substances while in utero you will need to complete the four courses listed in "For a Child Exposed to Substances."
- If you have a child already in your home you will need to complete the three courses listed in "Preparing Children Already in the Home."
- If you have infertility issues then please complete the "Coming to Terms with Infertility Grief" training.
- See "Legal Process & Risks for Domestic Adoption" for more information on the legal aspects related to domestic infant adoption.
- Visit "Post Adoption" for courses that will be helpful after you have completed your adoption.
When you have completed the required and recommended trainings please print a certificate of completion and send to the office. The certificates must be in your file. You are welcome to take additional trainings at no charge.
