Creating a Family Adoption & Foster Care Education

While we hope that you will experience nothing but love and joy in hosting, we do need to remind everyone that these are children that have experienced extensive hurt and trauma in their lives. As such, there is a very real possibility that challenges will arise during the course of your hosting experience. While these challenges are usually similar to the issues that any parent will face in the course of raising children, in some instances the methods for parenting these host children will be different, simply due to their trauma backgrounds. These training recommendations are designed to equip you with the information you will need for situations when they arise. We are grateful that you are willing to open your heart, your home, and help bring HOPE to these children.
