In this course we will cover how to work with the school if your child has behavior problems. The instructor will be Sarah Naish, the CEO and Founder of the Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma in the UK; she is the adoptive parent of five siblings, a former Social Worker, and the author of many books on foster parenting, including “The A-Z of Trauma-Informed Teaching.”

This course covers the following learning objectives:

  • List 3 ways to work with teachers and the school to address your child's behaviors.
  • List 3 strategies to manage "disruptive" attitudes toward your child's behaviors.
  • Explain how to approach IEP/504 meetings to address trauma-informed accommodations.
