In this course, we will cover why kids are scared and why some kids have more trouble coping with scary events than others. We cover the types of therapy that can be effective and end with practical tips for parents to help their child not get stuck. The instructor will be Dr. Melissa Goldberg Mintz, a clinical psychologist based in Houston, Texas.  She is the author of the book Has Your Child Been Traumatized: How to Know and What to do to Promote Healing and Recovery.
