In this course we will cover practical ways to connect with our tweens and teens. The instructor will be Dr. Melody Aguayo. Dr. Aquayo has her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Ph. D. in Psychology. She is a parenting coach who specializes in working with at-risk children and their families and is the founder of Real Child Consulting, LLC. She is the mom of two adopted kids.
This course covers the following learning objectives:
- List three key elements that define "connection."
- List 3 ways to effectively handle arguments with your teen.
- Name the steps for the process to model collaboration with your teen.
