In this course we will cover the baby care, including feeding, sleeping, and pooping. We include information on prematurity and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. The instructor will be Kristen O’Dell, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with almost 2 decades of working with over 10,000 newborns and their families in her hospital practice of Neonatology and Newborn Medicine.

This course covers the following objectives:

  • Explain best practice for feeding a newborn.
  • Understand best sleep habits for babies.
  • Explain causes of diaper rash and how to treat it.
  • List three items to include in your at-home first aid kit.
