In this course, we will discuss what makes some kids more challenging and what parents can do about it while maintaining attachment. The instructor will be Tina Feigal, M.S., Ed., the Director of Family Engagement at Anu Family Services, and founder of the Center for the Challenging Child, where she works with families throughout the US. She is the author of the book, Present Moment Parenting: The Guide to a Peaceful Life with Your Intense Child.

This course covers the following learning objectives:

  • List 4 tenets of parenting the intense challenging child.
  • Explain what is attachment and why it is important to children and parents.
  • Give an example of "reflective listening."
