Creating a Family Adoption & Foster Care Education

Thank you for registering for the Creating a Family Prenatal Exposure Training. This pilot program aims to provide training to teachers, daycare/preschool providers, afterschool providers and foster/adoptive/kinship parents with information and strategies on how to recognize and support children who have been exposed prenatally to alcohol and drugs.

Creating a Family is working with NC State University to create controlled study groups to produce an evidence-based study on this training. Participants will be randomly selected to participate in the program or may be placed in a control group. The control group will be asked to complete a pre- and a post-evaluations during the length of the study and will be invited to participate in the full training at a later date.
