In this course we will talk about the six classes of psychotropic medications, what they treat, and how to administer for maximum effectiveness. We will also discuss what foster, adoptive, and kinship parents can do to make sure that their child is on the medications needed. The instructor will be Dr. Adam Langenfeld, a Developmental Pediatrician at Children's Minnesota Hospital. He also has a Ph.D. in chemistry.
