Prenatal Substance Exposure Workshop for Parents - HealthyBlue NC, May 2026
Registrants attend three 90-minute interactive sessions.
Please note: This workshop is for caregivers raising adopted, foster, or kinship children who have been exposed prenatally to alcohol or drugs.

This evidence-based, trauma-informed workshop helps parents recognize the signs and symptoms of prenatal substance exposure and trains them on techniques that work best with kids exposed prenatally to alcohol and drugs. Each 90 minute session is held on Zoom and includes facilitated discussion with other caregivers working with these children. We are able to offer this free workshop through the support and partnership with HealthyBlue North Carolina.

| Session 3B+: Supporting School-Aged Children & Teens (Ages 4-18) Prenatally Exposed to Alcohol or Drugs | Thurs., May 21, 2026 |
*Session required. +Can attend both session 3A and 3B, but the participant must select at least one.
The workshop is presented in three sessions. Participants will need to be able to attend Session 1 and Session 2 and then you will select a Session 3 from one of the age-specific options.
