In this course we will cover practical tools to help a child who struggles with executive functioning deficits, including planning/organizing, working memory, transitions, and impulse control. The instructor will be Dr. Joyce Cooper-Kahn is a clinical child psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and other learning disabilities. She is the author of Late, Lost, and Unprepared: A Parents' Guide to Helping Children with Executive Functioning.

This course covers the following learning objectives:

  • List 3 strategies to build executive functioning skills.
  • Identify who is qualified to diagnose an executive functioning disability.
  • List 3 diagnosis that typically co-occur with executive function deficits.
